Find Bamflatt Farm, Strathaven
Strathaven is a very picturesque village which has a number of privately owned tea rooms, arts & craft stores and gift shops in the Common Green.
The local park, in summer, is very well known for its boating pond and model train. When entering the town from Stonehouse the ruins of Strathaven Castle are very striking.
There are also a lot of beautiful restaurants within the village well worth a visit.
Directions
From the East, M74 Junction eight. We are 4.5 miles.
- Take junction 8 off M74 heading for Ayr on the A71
- Bypass Stonehouse
- Continue on A71 over bridge crossing river to end of straight
- Turn RIGHT onto farm road (Even if navigation says left)
- Take right fork on farm road
From the West, Strathaven. We are 2 miles.
- On the A71 go through Strathaven heading for M74/Edinburgh
- Turn LEFT onto farm road 300 metres after first house on the left before long straight towards bridge.
- Turn LEFT onto farm road (Even if navigation says right)
- Take right fork on farm road
